A couple of days ago...I was messing around w/ my rig...decided to check the water level in my res...
its dripping!!! ...so I shut everything off and get to ripping it out...During the process...one of the voltage rails in my Silverstone 600W [ST60F]psu....decides to die!..No joke, there were no catastrophic events that led to this, I didnt drop it, spark it, drip in it....nothin...So after I got my resevoir out and went to fire up the rig...no juice! AAAHHHHH I ran down to Frys and picked up a new PSU...got the Silverstone ST75F. A nice quad 12v psu w/ 18A ratings on 3 of the 4 rails and a 22A max load for the 4rth rail. $169.00 on sale...as irony would have it it cost me 25$ less than the 600W i bought 2.5yrs ago. All is well now, had to change some of my water loops...got tired of re-filling the res, so I got rid of it all together. Heres some shots. the new PSU-> During the swap-> ![]() almost done-> ![]() all finished-> ![]() Lolz...check out the logo on my NB fan..! Its sooooo faux paux ![]()
