I recently got a new power supply and i put everything together and now it wont even power up. The power light comes on for a second and then turns off. Now i took everything out and laid it out on static proof bags and it worked fine but when i put it back on my case it stopped working. Is my case grounding something it shouldnt or what?

Maybe you fried a pice? try unpluging every single cable in your system, and carefully repluging it, sometimes that has made a compy that wont even power run fine for me. If that dosen't, leave all your components in your case, but plug all the power cabels into your old PSU with the case side off, try powering again, that will tell you if it's a mobo or HD or something instead of your new PSU.

i figured it out, i have a thermaltake tsunami and so the top usb/firewire/sound ports are single connectors not the actual whole unit (which pretty much sucks) and so i must have gotten the connection wrong which makes sense that it wouldnt start if i had a ground where a positive was. thanks for your help
