well my enermax 600w all-in-one noistaker series PSU isnt cutting it anymore. I get freeze ups with occasional cold boots, and have decided that my power's too low for my DFI Lanparty expert. Which is a funny thing because my system doesnt seem to eat up too much power compared to my friends 2x 7900 GTX's that are 1" thick, dual raid0 raptors, and his asus a8n 32x SLi.
Well i'm HOPING its my power supply anyway, time for a change. I dont want to get this wrong again so i need some advice on what i should get for an upgrade. the stats in my profile are up to date but now i have a raptor X 150gb HDD instead of 2 74gb raptors. I was thinking of the OCZ gamexstream 700w, http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16817341002. what do you guys think? oh yea, i also dont plan to spend 400+ on one maybe around $200 (perferably less than that). Spent 160 on my enermax so i'm hoping to go for the same

the ocz is a great choice, but get the highest power rating you can possibly afford

I just traded my Antec TP 550w for the OCZ GamexStreme 700w and my expert is running smooth as silk with it.. No more reboots under load because of a fluctuating +12v rail!

So have I. I finally just ditched the board for this Asus. It had to be conflicting with my components. I didn't have the time or patience to mess with it. Hence, the Asus.
