Default okia 500w atx power supply, help

I just bought a new rig that has a stock okia 500w atx power supply in the case and i was wondering if it is a decent power supply or should i switch it for my Ultra X finity 500w supply i have. If there isn't much difference i'm not going to worry about it. All i'm running is e6600 conroe, mobo, 1 cd drive, 1 250gb hd and ati x1950 pro if that helps. Thanx for the help !!

I'm not sure exactly what amprage you are looking for but here are the websites for the psu's.

Ultra X Finity:
http://www.ultraproducts.com/product...&productID=384

Okia 500w:http://cgi.ebay.com/500W-Max-Silent-...QQcmdZViewItem

I don't know much about power supply's but according to the #'s the Ultra X psu seems a lot better than the OKIA, i was searching 500w psu's on newegg and the Ultra X numbers are similar to most the the decent 500w's on there. Please help me out. Thanks

Definately use the Ultra. My cousin has the Okia 450w and it can barely power his sempron/x700 rig. If he overclocks too much the PSU shuts off. It feels like it's made of paper too.

i figured that the okia sucked lol, but how would you rate the Ultra for quality, all the reviews i've looked at said they were surprised by it but i figured i would ask. I don't want some peice of junk thats going to ruin my other hardware.

It's okay. 34 Amps should probably be enough, but I really can't comment on the reliability of it. I don't know if 500W is its peak, or its sustained either.
