I doubt it did the RAM... if his RAM and mobo both died, I would defnitly expect it was something HE did.

Something to keep in mind...
On this list, Jonny isn't saying "Whoo hoo all PSUs by X are better than PSUs by Y". He's saying that the X PSU happens to be better than Y with it's 850watt model, although Y is usually of higher quality. This is, in fact, probably the best reference for someone needing a high end gaming PSU. Most of these other lists I've seen catagorize by manufacturer, which is crap because quality isn't guaranteed with a name (Corsair XMS2 6400C4 anybody ).

The reviews and testing he puts the PSU's through prove to be very accurate. And for all of the fanboys of the OCZ GameXStream, and I know there are a boat load of them on Overclock.net, he put the GameXStream in the Tier 3 for a reason. It is a good PSU, but there are many PSU's of higher quality and reliability to supply unrippled power to your components.

I was saying that he doesn't just recommend a brand with his lists, he recommends the best PSUs from a broad range of manufacturers.

I thought he might put the Zalman into Tier Two, since he notes that it really stands out from other FSP offerings, especially in reference to ripples.

I call dodge. Noone in thier right mind would even consider a Coolmax in the same league is a FSP. And is that PP&C in tier two?
I smell a bit of "My, 1000000W PSU is better than yours..." going on.

Read Jonny's reviews... then find a site does more complete testing. Really, find one. It also states that you can't not judge all PSUs simply by the brand. You need to look at SPECIFIC models and rate each one. The Coolmax PSU is built on a server PSU. PCP&C has a model in Tier one AND Tier Two.... read why.
