Default Explorer constantly crashing... related to cheap PSU?

Hi guys,
I have a stock PSU in this case (aspire xdreamer), it's 350 watts. I was wondering, a few friends told me since my voltage on my 12v+ flexes by up to .350 volts... if that could cause explorer to crash as often as it does? No other programs are effected, only explorer. I've formated many times (not recently), and it still has the same problem so I've been led to believe it's a hardware failure. Another problem I have some times is when I use the jumper free overclocking on this Asus board, a lot of times it fails when its only a 5 or 10 percent increase. My computer is always running from 72-90 degrees fahrenheit, so I don't think cooling is a problem with that. It used to work just fine, then I went to overclock one time and ended up formating. It said 'No Operating System Detected'. I rebuilt the boot file and booted into XP to find 3/4 of my drivers gone. I backed up and formated. I duno what that was all about... but could that also be linked to PSU? Thanks guys... much appreciated.

- Josh

don't think it would be PSU-related, because if you can use other proggies with it not crashing, then it's not the PSU. have you played any games on it to see if it crashes?

Haven't had any problems with any games crashing, I have about 30 gigs of games installed (NFSU2, Doom3, Unreal 2004, all MOHA, all Battlefields, ect...)... no problems. It just really bugs me because explorer constantly crashes and pisses me off. But do you atleast think it could be related to that overclock problem?

definitely want to, whenever you get a psu with a case adn you get problems, immediately point to the psu, because it's a POS IMo...as many others will agree.

if its only IE explorer that's crashing, it could be that IE is corrupted or has a virus.
