Default Will my PSU handle this?

I am not really a PSU expert so I am wondering if you think my 600W GXS will handle my current rig with a few changes...I will be changing the mobo for a P5B D and I will be stepping up to the 8800 GTX ACS3. Just a really quick and straight forward question, all I want to know is whether or not my PSU will handle this.

Thanks in advance.

Thanks for the answer. The build you speak of is similar so I guess I will take your word for it. +REP

I personally wouldnt use that psu to power all of that personally, but it should power it, might be pushing it close to or on 500+ watts on it though.

I highly disagree, the only thing that will push that psu is a 8800GTX in SLI

That will handle the system with ease.

The OCZ GXS 600W is more than enough for any one GPU.

7800/7900 GTX in SLI would be better served by its bigger 700W brother.

It wont do 8800gtx in sli your almighty 600watt gxs isnt even certified for dual 7800gtx's, the 700watt version will push it along with dual 8800gts's.

What Dave said. For a single 8800GTX, plenty power.

For SLI-ed 8800GTX's you obviously want to look for something better, but the OP isn't planning SLI, so the GameXStream will do fine.

A Core 2 Duo rig with a single 8800GTX doesn't even get close to pulling 500W. It's more like 350W (stock CPU/GPU speeds) at full loads, and add some 75W for overclocking.
