Default Rate my Power Supply

I decided to go with the Hiper Type-R 580W Modular Power Supply.
http://www.xoxide.com/hiper-power-supply-black.html

I'll be going with a E6600, and an ASUS P5W DH Deluxe. and I will be OCing it to 3+ GHZ hopefully.

Its a decent psu, though it only carrier 360watts across the 12v but since your gpu is a x1300 it will be fine though you can get better psu's for around the same price.

If it works... 10. If not... 0.

With power supplies it either works or it doesn't, lol. It's not like having a better one increases performance.

Given your minimal system requirements the Hiper will work, but there a tons of better choices!

The Hipers are recommended only for our UK/EU members who often have far fewer choices & much higher prices,
in North America why would anyone want to settle for a Hiper?

I beg to differ. The gains aren't things you see though, it's the negative effects that you notice in your bench marks.

Agreeing with Paul, a poor PSU creates an unstable system, a good PSU provides stability & great OC'ing!
