A woman I worked with told me the stadard "Plugged in and heard a pop and it wouldn't work anymore" story (immediately thought PSU, and of course I was correct) I hooked up the psu that came with my case (the reason I bought it was for a extra psu by the way) and of course with changing nothing the computer booted up to WINDOWS ME.

I was staring at a Celeron 700 mhz with 192 megs of RAM and 1 mb video RAM shared (or 512kb if you so desired) and a 30 gig HD.

ANyways its a "100-05 psu with 100 watts MAXIMUM"

BUT its about 75% the size of a standard PSU. So where can I buy these small form psu's andd if they're available on the egg what do I search for ?!?

Linky for quick reference. A few of my mom's office computers that I have mangled and taken apart had tons of these. Don't have very much power but if you need a small PSU for a family build or something, they're the way to go.

Damn, I was too slow. Yes it is a micro ATX power supply and they are at reasonable prices especially when all you need is 100watts lol.
