Default Corsair HX520w?

Can this PSU run 2 8800gts's? It has 40A on a single 12v rail.

Thanks!

Check this link out to determine total wattage needed.
They want money for the amperage calculator

Yes it will run it fine. The 8800GTS only uses about 9-10 amps each on the 12V rail and a little on the 5v rail.

Make sure you sandpaper the hole, and then put some U rubber over it to avoid sharp edges. Put some grease around the newly drilled hole, and then screw your computer, screw it hard. Maybe install some UV lights and turn em up to indicate that your computer is also excited.

Don't trust those calculators... they're often wrong

A 8800GTS uses about 110W stock, that's about 9A on the 12V rail. Let's say it uses 12A to be on the safe side, so that's 24A for the 8800's. Then you have 16A (192W) to your CPU, which is more than enough.
