Don't know if any of you guys have seen this, I was looking through the upcoming stories on digg and found it. Seem Miller, the same people who make the welders, also make power supplies. Check this out, comes in models up to 10,500w w/ over 350A on a single 12v rail.

I know this is a joke, however the max wattage you are going to ever get from a wall socket is about 1,700 watts. Some new homes may do 2,300 watts. To get to 10Kw, you'd need a 220v plug at 50A.
