Default Quiet power supply

I want to minimize noise from my PC. I am looking to replace some old components, one of which is the power supply.

I am researching quiet PS and came across the FSP Group (Fortron Source) AX400-PN on the egg. It is quiet according to a lot of people, but there is no quantification (i.e. decible) of the noise level of the 120mm fan. Google search doesn't turn up any concrete number. Neither does FSP website.

Anyone know how quiet the fan is? Any other recommendation for a similarly priced and comparable performance-wise PS?

Keep in mind that this is an office PC, not a gaming rig.

Thanks!

I have that PSU on my throwback rig that sits on my desk. Even though it's outside of a case and sits maybe 3' from my head, I can't hear it over any other fans.

I can't access the link

But you can always check these two ( 1 - 2 ) sites for silent PSUs

Lol. Also, you could get any Tagan PSU, they are known for emphasizing on silence, although they are not always the best...

Mine is absolutely silent, I have no complaints
