First Time Build

It is time for me to get a new PSU, that will be future proof. Now, I am trying to decide which one of these to get. The choices are:
http://www.directcanada.com/products/?sku=13440AC4085 or http://www.directcanada.com/products...e%20Technology I am also getting a antec 900 case, the modular PSU would be nice but I also hear a lot of people saying that modular PSUs lose power and such. Last thing, would 750W be enough for the future? Or should I get a 850W?

Silencer 750 & Decathlon DA750 are an overkill for your system.
Check Corsair HX620W or HX520W they are one of the best modular PSUs ever.

Yea I hear the Corsair HX620W is good. However, the PSUs I linked above will be used in a future system I am building. This is what my new system will probably consist of. 1 GFX card (maybe 2 in the future) 1 optical drive 2 HDDs 4-5 case fans. Can the Corsair HX620W handle this?

Between the two, I'd get the Silverstone. I've never heard of the other. I have 1.1GW for the reason of upgradability. Why stop at 850? I wish I had a modular PSU. High-performance PSUs have a LOT of extra cables... I had to stuff my extra ones into two empty drive bays. If they weren't free, I'd be a cable hell. It took me two hours to ziptie them away from my mobo and out of the airflow.

Hmmm.... for me: PC P&C.
I use their PSU's and never have to worry about stability when under load or when ambients sky-rocket during the Summer.

Corsair HX620W will be able handle you new system but with only one GFX card.

Yes that Corsair 620HX is nice, I read some good reviews + the cost is good. However, Can the PSU handle future hardware? Like the PCIE 2.0 cards and such?

It's impossible to tell without knowing the specs for future video cards. For the forseeable future it should be able to handle pretty much anything.
