Hey Run N. Gun.....thanks for the show of suport,
I guess its the Tech support departments job, of any manufacturer, to make the user with a problem feel they are the only ones in the world that this is happening to and to defend thier product to the hilt...even if users are having a hell of a time, it can indeed be a lonely battle...and thats where forums with their experience and support are invaluable... ![]() Well, it took me nearly 40 hours to eliminate my problem, in the end I changed my PSU for a Corsair Hx 620 and the problems just melted away. ![]() No more double boot / no posting, no more nVidia sentinel warning.....the system is now running stable at 3.2GHz ![]() I have sent the offending Enermax back to the e-tailer who report that they have run it ok for an hour on a 8800GTX & 3dMark 06 with no faults, I suggested they use it to power an X38 motherboard and a 8800GT...they may change it via distance selling regulations as a goodwill gesture, but I haven't heard anything yet

That is great news! I'm glad that you found the solution to your problem!
Now we all know that replacing the Enermax PSU solved your problem. Go enjoy your new video card!

I just picked up the 1000w version and I just read up about this, thing is I'm planning on running 2 GTX's in SLI.
__________________Had this been fixed yet? If it works with a single GTX will it work with 2? Is this a compatibility issue with the card or does the PSU not have enough power? Will it work with future cards that may use more power like the 9*** series? The sticker reads: OK5-OK5-OK6-REV 3- B

If you're concerned about your new PSU working with your GTX-SLI config, then open a ticket with Antec and give them your serial number. As soon as I gave them my serial number, they issued the RMA, because they knew it wouldn't work. Try it, you have nothing to lose.
I sure hope your PSU works fine with your config.

It seems this problem extends to Thermaltake as well, I've just purchased an Albatron 8800GT 512MB and a Thermaltake Toughpower 600W and I'm having exactly the same problem.
(Another user with this problem and PSU) I don't particularly want to replace my PSU... |

I guess I'll wait and see what Albatron say. EDIT: After trying a generic 500W PSU the problem went away, looks like I'm getting a new PSU

Well, isn't that interesting!
I hope the Power Supply Manufacturers are taking note that if their products don't work with the new video cards, people are replacing the PSU with models that DO work. C'mon guys, get on the ball!

Has anyone been able to run their GTX/Ultra with this PSW?
