So, my Seasonic 600W PSU shutdown this morning (RMAing it) and I went over to my buddy at the small local enthusiast PC store and we put our heads together. Results was that I came home with a 350W Altis model ATX350-PT PSU for testing and giving feedback. Chunck it in connect everything give it a shot at booting and wow, just plainly wow. It's silent, it's running cool and most importantly it can run my system at high Volts with no problem. So if someone's out for the market for cheap low power PSU's this is something for you. Ofcourse it's nothing fancy supporting 2 GPU's or anything but it's pretty nice nontheless.

![]() Agreed though with Duckie. Just because it runs does not mean it is running well without any adverse affects. I'd upgrade asap.

Yeah I'll be getting my seasonic back ina few. But it managed to keep my system up in orthos for 1 hour and it didn't even heat up it's still blowing out chilly air. Just by monitoring my Vcore Vdimm 3.3V 5V and 12V in PCprobe it seems stable no fluctuations.
Vcore=1.367 Vdimm=1.95 3.3V=3.3 5.0V=4.99 12V=12.01 Edit: And btw this was more of a recommendation for user than only need low power PSU's personally as I said I'm running the Seasonic 600W that I'll be getting back in a day or 2

Yeah, a single X1950 isn't too power hungry, although you may be pushing the envelope of that PSU under heavy loads, especially if it heats up.
Since Orthos isn't going to maximize your PC's power consumption, the fact that you could run that with stable voltages doesn't surprise me. Try running Company of Heroes and see what happens. |

Yeah I know the X1950 isn't that powerhungry but on the other hand the 6000+ windsor is
anyways, got a mail that I'm getting my seasonic back tomorrow.

![]() For better PSU stress testing, try running Orthos + ATITool simultaneously. Oh, what's the UL Number on the PSU?
