Default Connect 2 PSU together

after reading the sticky about jump starting the 2nd PSU to take load off the first one,

i'm wondering if it's possible to use the same step but connect all the same pins with the 1st PSU, and plug into motherboard to use?

or they work differently and design differently etc as I imagine

That wouldnt work. The PSUs would probably short eachother out and cause big problems. If you mean hooking up all the wires to the motherboard.

You can hook up just the wire that the PSU uses to be triggered on to the motherboard. They have special adapters that are used for that.
