I have recently noticed that when I first turn on my P.C after it being off for a while It comes on for about 2 seconds then goes off for about 5 seconds then comes back on again and acts normal. Is this a PSU problem. If it is what would be the best PSU for me to upgrade to for about £70.

This sounds something like what mine does occasionally. I have read somewhere that some boards have a "double-boot" sequence, not sure what the first boot is supposed to accomplish but there should be a way to disable it if in fact that is what is happening. Check out your bios for options or maybe somebody around here with the same board has experience the same thing.

Mine does that when I change something in bios or hardware related.

P35 chipsets do that. Some companies have a newer bios that helps prevent that (unless the board has no power)

It's pretty common with ASUS boards I've found.
And yeah, the DFI Dark motherboard are amazing, I would go with one.
