![]() NOTICE MY POSTS AMOUNT!!!! Anyways On other hands I got bored a few minutes ago and decided to mod my 500 watt 24+4 pin psu Cause it looked really old lol I still does and could use a paint job but anyways I have changed the cover From a solid no hole design over to a Clean gate looking design and I also Added a Blue LED fan, And I'm dressing up the wires. I hope it will look good when i'm done atleast. Heres for the pictures.... uploading now ![]() ![]() ![]()

Very cool that you did that, unfortunately that cover may give you problems down the road.
They use certain covers for certain PSU's for a reason. With the vents cut back as far as they are on the top of that thing, the components towards the front may not get enough air. When you have a cover that's solid across the top, it so the air can suck in through the front and carry all of the way across to the back. The other PSU that cover came off of was designed differently inside. |

Yep. Similar to show the cover on a video card heatsink channels the airflow so it gets directed to where it's needed the most.
