It's the only one I know of, not too sure if they updated it recently.

i just ran the PSU calculator at both sites listed in this topic...

http://extreme.outervision.com/PSUEngine = 533W (about what i thought i needed to be safe)

http://educations.newegg.com/tool/psucalc/index.html = 929W (is someone trying to entice the buyer to buy more than they need?)

I used my system listed below in my stats and fully filled out all the blanks i could on the extreme calculator (but used 4.2 as the overclock). The reason i used it was to see if i maybe had a weak PSU and thats why i had to send it for RMA.(BFG 850W) I say to go witht he extremem calc. The newegg one is just way too high in my opinion. Anyone else think so?

I dunno I think the newegg one isnt that far off. It says I need 651W for my rig. How many drives do you have though? I only have 1 HDD and 1 DVD-rw drive, Im assuming that once you have several drives you need considerably more power to make sure youre not power starved.

I would trust the extreme outervision one anyday over the newegg one especially since newegg is a huge retail site lol. I use the outervision one.

Hard Drive
5x 40GB RAID5 Array

My old Pentium D 920 had the same array with a smaller PSU (and lesser VGA) but i never had issue.
