Default Which 1000W PSU would to suggest?

I will begin my new build soon. I will be ordering the case on Monday of next week. This build will require a 1000W PSU for future-proofing. I have come down to these 3 PSU's.

Corsair 1000W PSU

Kingwin 1000W PSU

Ultra X3 1000W PSU

I am leaning toward the Ultra at the moment.

Also have the Ultra and it's been a great PSU. I used to run dual 3870x2's and two more HDDs and it never skipped a beat.

I would say Corsair or the Ultra, but If I was in your shoes I would choose the 1000HX.

The Ultra is probably your best bet. It's internally designed to be a server PSU, so you know that it MUST be dependable!

I would pick between either the Corsair or the Ultra. The Corsair is a little better performance wise and has more power available on the 12V rails compared to the Ultra. You can get the Ultra for $230 + shipping here and the Corsair for $245 shipped here. Just recently you could have gotten the Ultra for ~$200 but not anymore so I would probably get the Corsair at these prices.

Wow the price has gone up since we bought ours.

I'd get the Corsair, if you can find it a little cheaper.
I have seen it cheaper before, can't remember where though.

One that you may want to consider is the thermaltake toughpower... I have the 1200 watt and it's easily the best psu I've ever owned. Never had ANY problems with it... but I think any psu at this level would perform equally as well for your machine.
