Default I need a reliable but not powerful psu.

I am building a folding rig only, it will never do another thing. So I need a very reliable power supply, this will be running one dvdrom drive, one sata hdd, a g31 board with onboard video, 2xsticks of ddr2 ram, and at first a celeron D slightly overclocked, until I find a deal on a q6600.

So recap
P31 board with onboard graphics
2xsticks of ram
Q6600 oc'ed
dvd rom drive
sata hdd

I am figuring I need less than 450W(closer to 350W will do fine according to power calculator), 80plus certified is nice but I am not dropping $50+shipping, I would love to pick something up around $35 shipped.

EDIT: LETS UP THE BUDGET TO $50, top dollar though.

Why no GPU? >< You could dedicate one CPU core to the GPU and still have 3 cores folding SMP, which should nearly double or more than double your PPD depending on the GPU you choose.

There's a reason it is so cheap, it is a joke. Stay away from that PSU.

Yeah I have looked that one over, again and again, but I have done a lot of mail in rebates and only recieved about 40% so losing that $30 makes the deal a lot less appealing.

For many reasons, one the cost of buying a gpu(good folding one is going to be $130+ easily) plus the cost to my electric bill, read my response to the next reply for more on that.

I am, my sig rig is folding via cpu. I also have another e8400 dedicated to folding, and then my lanbox for folding as well(5000BE). So this will be my 4th machine.

Is that logisys worthwhile?
