Default Power supply dissection; any advice?

I need to crack open my Sunbeam NUUO to fix the incessant clicking from the drooped thermoresistor; is there anything I should be aware of?

It's already out of warranty (I just posted a rant about that), so I don't particularly care about breaking any seals etc.

I know that I need to ziptie the thermoresistor to something (probably the pair of wires right next to it). Is there anything that I should be careful about? Do thermoresistors ziptie that well?

Thanks,

-pyr0m

Um, don't touch anything, or you will have a new hair dew

Power Supplies retain power even after being unplugged for a very very long time. I forget which parts retain the power though....

um... use rubber lined tools for added safety?

You touch the wrong thing in there, and trust me there are a lot of parts in their that I would call the wrong thing, and we will never hear from you again.

My advice, spring for a new PSU.

Drat. Well, thanks for warning me =D

Anyone heard anything about the XIGMATEK MC NRP-MC751?

It's what I'm probably going to upgrade to, I was just going to wait a couple months first, get a few paychecks, etc.
