Default Different PSU for my rig?

My psu fan is pretty much dead. I also have an antec basiq 350w psu from another rig. Would that be enough for my rig?

it will be enough, but you'd ideally want a new psu eventually. the basiq is not exactly great quality, and you wouldn't have much room to upgrade.

I just wanna use it long enough to rma my current one. I just realized that I'm gonna need a molex to pci-e power adapter.

The 350w Basiq only has 23A on the 12V rail and if you are overclocking you will be running into trouble at full load. You can use it temporarily but I would avoid stressful things like gaming.

I'm gonna have everything at stock. I can unplug my vista drive because the modem doesn't have vista drivers. I just need to head to fry's and get me a molex to pci-e power adapter because mine is back in San Diego.

Yeah, I don't recommend a 350watt psu for your setup either. You might want to get a 500+. The Antec 350 would be fine for now, but I bet its output will decrease as it start to wear out. You better be safe than sorry.

It's just long enough to RMA his other PSU. I don't think he needs to buy another PSU just for a week or two. Just try to be gentle on the Basiq.

PC Power and Cooling makes the VERY best PSU's..bottom line, they are the BEST out there. OCZ just incorporated them, so some of OCZ's PSU's are actually PC Power and Cooling PSU's
