Default PSU dying or what?

here are some symptoms:

-When the system is booted up when it's cold (obviously not an issue now...more for cooler months), it would take a few tries for it to actually post, whether the rig's overclocked or not. Once it warms up, or when the weather's warm, the issue goes away.
It's done this with 2 different motherboards and 2 different CPUs.

-Currently, running either Crysis or Grid crashes my computer, no BSOD or anything, just a hard crash with stuttering sound, forcing me to reset. All other games run fine. FYI, a SLI board with 2x 8800gt ran just fine with these games, maybe there's more power draw now, or just bad drivers?

What do you think folks?

Thanks
