Default 1000 watt psu for 8600?
i ask u, who in the hell is going to buy a 1000 watt psu for an 8600 , tiger thinks this is a good combo!?

A 500Watt is still more then enough if you don't need alot of GPU performance.

I run crossfire and three hard-drives off a 500watt.

Or they have nothing to do with each other and they are just trying to find a way to get rid of stock. Now im not sure if its a good price or not but if it was i and i was looking for a 1kw psu i would combo if it was worth it and then sell/ use for back up rig/ or keep for backup.
