Default what do you think of this PSU Ante TPQ 850

is this an upgrade from my current PSU

i am upgrading to a crossfire setup with 4870's will this be better than my current since seeing that its a little more power and it has enough power connectors to run my setup

IMO, the Corsair PSU is a better quality PSU but may not be enough to power your cards. That being said the TPQ is a good PSU but earlier revisions did have issues with NVIDIA cards.

To answer most of your questions: (1) a fridge cannot cool a PC (2) 64-bit OS for over 3.4GB (3) If a PCIe card fits, it should work (4) Resolution, not screen size (5) If you have a question, it is not news (6) Report, not respond to Spam (7) Single-Rail/Non-Modular PSUs are not always better than Multi-Rail/Modular (8) Sequential does not matter as much as random for OS drives

Yeah, it is a good idea to upgrade. It will probably be able to handle it, but you will be putting quite a load on your PSU since you have an OCed quad.

nVidia drivers released after March 6 (or so) fix this problem. I would say quality is similar. It's a good deal for $150. How much is the Thermaltake going for? The 1kW Toughpower is a really nice unit, even better than your Corsair or the Antec.

Can't attest to the overall quality of this specific PS but an OCZ 1000W for %90 after MIR. Some say its very loud though
http://www.overclock.net/online-deal...pply-90-a.html

Or for $100 after MIR Another OCZ 1000W
