The Corsair VX550 would have no problems with a HD4850.

__________________So... the Corsair? Are you sure? The OCZ is very good tough... here's a review http://www.hardwaresecrets.com/article/451 Those guys managed to get 720W from it and it didn't even heated a ºC it can work with 700W with a safety margin This review is even in OCZ's Website LOL.

Its not really worth the risk really. When cheap PSUs get overloaded, they often don't have over-current/volt protection, so will go bang, and may take out your other components. If you can grab a better PSU, your system will be much more protected, and you will have some room for upgrades in the near future.
