Unhappy Defective Power Supply

Hi people

Since a week Im having stability problems whit mine defective 500W PS. Now it seems that I wont oveclock until I get a new one.

Look a this patetics voltages

+5v = 4.89
-5v = 5.00
3.3v = 3.12~3.18
1.3875v = 1.35~1.37
+12v = 11.88

Its Horrible horribleeee

Maybe something more is making problems??

No, I think it's just your PSU going dead. Nothing in your system would cause your rails to drop that low. Get a better quality one and you should be good to go.

I don't see anything exceptionally worrisome there. Is that under load? If so, then those all seem pretty normal. A little low, but not bad. In all honesty, prescott's suck the 12v rail dry, and even my Antec and TTGI drooped to ~11.6v or lower under load with my prescott.

I got a new PSU yesterday, and gues what??? Horrible voltages again, but now is stable

VCore 1.35~1.37v
3.3V = 3.09~3.2v
5V = 4.97~5v
12V = 11.95

Well, what is going then?? I trashed the other one anyway.

Any comments???

Those arnt horrible voltages. Those are very slight "defects" just OC it, there isnt a problem. What PSU did you get btw.

I got another UNAMED PSU, 30 days warranty LOL, and that was because I DEMMANDED IT LOL. Now OC is stable, I ran aquamark and is doing fine,

At least I dont reboot ramdomly now!!!

Good question

Here in this country, to obtain a good PSU you have to purchase one in ebay or something similar.

It cost 23$ LOL, is junk, but it will help for now
