Default Will a 650W PSU cut it?

If i am to upgrade my GPU to 4870X2 or GTX280?

It might be cutting it a little close with your Q6600. I would get a 800Watt

It would probably work for a bit, but I'd recommend a 750W at least. You don't wanna risk having it brown out while you're playing a game. you're at a graphic intensive part, and you don't get to save.

So better safe than sorry xD

4870x2 is around 320w and GTX280 is 230w. The real power series PSU is a solid psu so technically, it should be able to handle either one.

I'd say go 750 W it will just give you that extra confidence in your rig. And it will leave some room for any other upgrades/overclocks.
