4850 is a 105w GPU. EA series psu is a solid psu. The EA500 can do 400w on 12v which is better than many generic 600w psu out there. Unless you do CF, EA500 should be fine.

I might end up CFing or SLIing, depends on how the GPU wars of the future goes. Thanks for telling me that.

When I bought my new parts, I had my self convinced that the power supply would in inadequate, but the TR2 is happily sucking away my power and running my rig. Great that I don't HAVE TO buy one a.s.a.p. and that I can wait until a decent price drop occurs.

TR2 is the weakest series in TT psu. The TR2 430w psu only has 216w on 12v but the 4670 draws less than 60w so it should be fine.

LOL yeah, funny story about how i ended up with such a BS PSU. Last year, I had a research project due for school and I was going to work on it during the weekend. On Saturday morning I turned on my computer and I got a loud noise coming from the PSU, and the fan was barely spinning. I had to get a new one. I went out to a computer store and found ThermalTake TR2 430 Watt power supply for $55 and a generic 400 watt for $40. I bought the thermaltake because from what I knew at the time, they were a good brand (never knew that made crap PSUs until a few months later) and it had PCI-express connectors and dual 80mm fans.

Now when I look back, I should of payed more money and gotten that ne that I think was named Cooler Master (looked similar to this:http://www.canadacomputers.com/index...838&cid=PS.808)

Oh. thanks again for the help Really appreciate it

You are fine for now. If you go for CM PSU, look for real power pro series psu.

That's a good price on the Earthwatts 650! I'd go for it. You'll never regret having more power than you need.

The EA650 has 45A on the 12V which is a little lower than it should be (the comparable Corsair has 52A). But, it performs just as well as the Seasonic built tx650 and the CWT built tx550: http://www.jonnyguru.com/modules.php...Story&reid=110. It may not look as nice as the Corsairs, but as long as the price is right I wouldn't hesitate buying it.
