How can I make my own PCI-E adapter? My GFX card needs a 6 pin, and currently my PSU is on RMA, and I'm using a generic 250watt and it doesn't have a 6 pin connector, and I don't have an adapter.
How can I make my own? Thanks.

idk if u should even run a 7900gs on a 250w...(they are like ~$5 though. Just get an adapter. Maybe someone can send u 1 on here for the price of shipping)

You don't.
That generic 250w PSU is probably an old design without the current emphasis on the +12v. How many amps are on the +12v? You want at least 14A. Also, you probably don't want to push 8-9A at +12v on single wire that is probably higher gauge than current standards. Personally, if you must use your system... use only 1 RAM DIMM and underclock your CPU for now....

I wouldn't risk it, even if you made a custom homemade adapter. It shouldn't be that hard to make one thou , you just need 2 molex male connectors and 1 6slot pci connector and 6 wires... Getting the female pci connector is a bit of a problem...

Don't risk it.... reduce power draw as best as you can and wait for your replacement to come.. Otherwise, you risk RMAing more than just the PSU.
