Um, it's probably no riskier than using a Stock Case power supply. ...
They usually fail pretty fast. And 350W... Ugh. Barely enough.

Newegg sells convertors for this, they are cheap but as long as you have a standard ATX PSU I'd upgrade it. You can get a good 450W or 500W PSU for 50$ or 60$.

went through with the conversion, had no trouble, the cables are the exact same with the exception of the orange ( 3v )
this is my set up now ( over 200 CFM )

Nice work! Are you going to mount it somewhere...Or just leave it hanging?

yeah, i probably SHOULD mount it, but...
right now it's hanging there, not making any noise and it's hitting just about the hottest place on my MB i just turned it a little, so now it gets: 1. On top (the bottom) of my graphics card 2. feeds into my GPU and sli fans 3. hits the heat sync on the mb 4. feeds the output of my CPU sync into the case fan out (the fan on the CPU pushes air INTO? the sync, against the mother board. should i flip it over?) i now have CPU temps (under load) 3-4C cooler than before, and GPU temps also about 3C cooler
