Many thanks ^^ , if I can't get this fixed I can try do it at work (spare parts to test and systems to test my parts on etc.) but back onto topic: no crashing as of yet will continue to test. May run benchmarks until whenever I wake up tomorrow (taking full advantage of the bank holiday!

Turns out that my colleague put Cl4 ram rather than CL5 ram in our order. Setting the dimm volatage to 2.1 as required fixed it.
