Well, I just ordered this beast, and I've heard nothing but good news (except for one guy who's PSU died in six months, but Newegg and Corsair quickly apologized and he got a new unit within four days) from Corsair and the TX-series, but I'm just curious to see if anyone has any complaints, rants, or absolute admiration toward the PSU and why..
Just curious so I know what to sort of expect next week when it arrives. ![]() For anyone who doesn't know what this power supply is, CHECK IT OUT! And as for my questions.. How long does the average TX750 last? Or if oyu don't know that, how long as yours lasted? Is there any LEDs on it? Can it cook food and clean my house?

This psu is the highest quality you can get. IMO the only thing better would be a corsair or silverstone of Higher wattage

It's of good quality, No LEDs.
Probably last you longer than you'll need it, don't worry about it.

It'll probably last at least five years, as that's the length of the warranty. (and if it doesn't well, just get a replacement. I'm not sure if damaged parts taken out of it 'blows up' are covered by corsair, though) But I highly doubt a corsair will blow up. Just die a long painful quiet death.

as a proud owner of this thing i can only praise it, ive had it for over a year not so much as a hiccup, the only regret i have it not getting the 1000w version, because its modular and as future proof as possible!

Alright all sounds good. I'm fairly excited for it to arrive. I'm upgrading from this. Don't get me wrong though, the Apevia 500W is a great power supply. Its powering this rig and holding up fairly nice. I just figure I'm running at maybe 485W-ish, and these capacitors are gonna age fairly quickly assuming they're not exactly name brand ones. Plus I got this PSU because it was on sale for $30 and there was a mail-in rebate for $20, so it was basically a $10 PSU. And I had it before hand, so I knew it would work nicely.
And yeah I wish I could have grabbed the HX1000, but money is a bit tight right now. Just ran through $350 in less than three days.

I used to have an antec true power 430w that powered an almost identical set up as yours for a good year. I have had the same psu for about 5 years. I replaced it with the corsair 650w and it has never given me one problem in almost a years ownership. I expect to upgrade the psu before this one ever gives me any trouble, but I don't see that happening any times soon.
