Default Ultra X4 1200-Watt - Worth it?

Would the Ultra X4 be worth it for future upgrades? Anyone have any thoughts on if this one I should consider?

Unlikely. I'm not completely sure yet because there aren't any reviews, but performance will likely be unimpressive. 85A is too little on the 12V for a 1200W PSU. The Enermax Revolution 1050W would be a much better choice. It has 87A on the 12V and is at the same price point (or quite a bit lower with MIR at times). You could even get the 1250W Enermax for near that price with MIR and it has 104A on the 12V.

edit: Just noticed the .ca bit. Ignore my price quotes. Lemme look around to see how well it stacks up price-wise.

what upgrades
think about what you could possibly upgrade to before u buy
doubt you'll be tri-SLIing/xFire since u still have that old GPU

just get a 750w or something and you'll be set

lol u don't even upgrade your CPU cooler, and you are thinking about using 1200watts?!?

Well if you shop around a bit the Enermax 1050W is similarly priced even in Canada. The X4 won't be bad, but I think it will be a fairly average performer. I also have to question why you would need a 1200W ever. Unless you plan on a dual cpu board with quad sli/crossfire there is no reason for a 1200W. 1000W is even overkill for most setups. 750-850W can handle most dual card configurations and even some three card.

Well, this would be for the future. I will be going to an i7/i9 setup very shortly with around 8GB of DDR3, Tri-SLI, and atleast 4 - 1TB WD Blacks all for business purposes. Want something I can use now and well into the future.

I was looking at that one too, but I think that this one would be better for my business use.

Rather pick enermax like people said. I have lot of bad experiences with ULTRA products, starting from fans, cases and PSU.
