Default Main Power Cable "Rattling" Sound?

Today i noticed that the black main power cable does some weird sound like a rattle snake,i can only hear the sound when i put my ears close to the cable.I replaced the main power cable with an unused that i have but the problem still persists!Anyone knows what it is?should i worry about?

Is it fully secured in place by the clip? And are you 100% sure it is the power cable and not something rattling on the motherboard? Try holding the main power cable and see if it still rattles.

Hope you sort it out man Little things like this annoy me too, and could lead onto bigger things.

Do you onl hear the rattle while the computer is running? See if the rattle occurs when its powered off. And if it continues, unplug the power cable from the back of your PSU. If the rattling continues, I'd conclude there is a rattlesnake in your computer. No seriously, I'd say there is probably a loose part or something of the sort. Did you think maybe the rattling could be occuring from behind your motherboard, underneath the tray itself? Sound can do some weird things..

Perfect example of how very simple things can fix potentially complicated problems. Be aware of that next time, try the very simple things first, then go from there.

You should give some credit to this guy, first thing he mentioned was this.
