Default Is my PSU enough?

Hello,
my system is the one in the signature, and I have a HighPower PSU, everyone however told me it's a Sirtec. All I know is that at the moment I got it, i looked it up and and saw it is 80+ approved.

I want to get the best of my CPU+RAM and my GPU, but I'm wondering if this PSU is good enough for the job if i start upping voltages.

Thanks for the trust vote on my PSU, nckid4u, I know some things about PSU's, been obsessed for a while on them since I managed to burn a DELL once, SO I'm actually here for getting a reassurance and a good rock solid reason if possible, like: "man, you can fly with that PSU on your pijama", or "dude, you're gonna get a bottle-neck cause you don't have the proper amperage needed", or something like that:P(as rock-solid as those answers can be ). I don't know exactly, I'm not chickening out, just want to have some opinions before I start to OC, because I'm getting a new rig (i7) and I'm willing to to OC till burn on this one, but I wouldn't wanna get stopped by the PSU.
Hope I make sense ^^

You have a total of 432W on the 12V rail, that's more than enough power for your system which probably pulls ~250W under load.

I'm sure you already know this, but how you calculate wattage is this: Power (W) = I(Current, measure in Amps) * V(voltage, measured in volts).

You can rearrange the triangle to calculate any of them, if you have two.

So Amperage would be: Wattage/Voltage.

And voltage would be Wattage/Amperage.

Yes they know what they're talking about! The PSU would definitely pull it... Ur system isn't on the extreme power draw so I say go for it

Thanks guys^^, I consider this thread closed; sorry to take up the space, just wanted to be sure on my specific system.

I'm off to OCing!

Good luck and happy overclocking!

And you don't need to be sorry about taking up space... if no one ever asked anything, no one would ever learn.

The only stupid question is the one that goes unasked.
