Ah, I see. But there are always molex adapters for the PCI-E power cables. My friend is probably going to upgrade to a Crossfire setup in the future, just not now. He's just excited to get a computer better than his current... HP machine.

Either way, I'm sure I can hide all the cables behind the Motherboard tray.

No there is no reason, I just meant that if a good choice is made now it will suite all the OP's needs for years to come whether is be a good 500 Watt PSU or a 1000 Watt PSU
