Ah, I see. But there are always molex adapters for the PCI-E power cables. My friend is probably going to upgrade to a Crossfire setup in the future, just not now. He's just excited to get a computer better than his current... HP machine.
Either way, I'm sure I can hide all the cables behind the Motherboard tray.

No reason why he can't get a solid 500W PSU. Buy anyway, he said crossfire's an option, so 650W would be good for that.
