Default Mounting a Power Supply

Is it okay to mount the fan facing down on a bottom mounted case?

My PSU has blue LEDs and I realize it does not fit with my case. =/

I am also too lazy to replace the fans.

you can mount the PSU anyway you wish... as long as there's some space between the bottom of the PSU and the case if you're going to mount it fan down, otherwise you'll burn it up if it can't breathe

Some cases, like the cooler master HAF's for example are designed to have the PSU's large fan face down. there is a gap of space allowing it to get air. However, if there is no place for it to get air, it should face upwards.

Only if there is an intake holes for it. If not then it would just pretty much kill the PSU.

I'm not familiar with HAF, but I'm certain it does since Cooler Master's offerings mostly have that.

I dunno if its good for it. but I got my psu fan facing down in my 932. But as the others have said it shouldn't be a problem as there's a stand off and ventilation holes at the bottom of the case. Problem is the amount of dust the psu will suck up facing down...
