Default Need help choosing

Thank in advance. I want to upgrade my current psu (300w from an Gateway). I really don't know much on which to choose. In the next few months I'm going to upgrade just about everything in my system and plan on trying to overclock. I'd also like a modular unit.

I'm looking to spend up to $100 with shipping.

I've read good things about these 3:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16817103937
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16817104154
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16817709004

but i'm open to any suggestions

Thanks again

Enermax make very good PSU's as well. The Liberty series are modular.

Well, as said previously, the ENERMAX Liberty ELT500AWT ATX12V 500W Power Supply would be the best choice.

But for Intel systems I'd recommend the fallowing:
-OCZ PowerStream OCZ520ADJSLI ATX, BTX, EPS12V 520W Power Supply.
A little over your budget but that's the best PSU for overclocking Intel systems. I wouldn't take any other.

-Athena Power AP-P4ATX55FE EPS12V 550W Power Supply. The least expensive PSU.

For Intel it's best to go with a PSU with a single powerful rail, not modular either but the Enermax Liberty is absolutely the only choice when it comes to that and Dual Rails (the Gamer XStreme by OCZ also).

Word to the guy who posted the Sunbeam NUUO 550W!

It's a great Power supply, and it's hella cheap.

Go for it, and you won't regret it. Probably even overkill for that computer...

Plus it's modular, and that's hella nice.

Good luck!
