Pretty good entry level 4k monitor

review by ironman517

I bought this monitor a little before black Friday for $400 with a free printer. It was a pretty good deal. It's a good monitor, not the best, but it is expected when it is so cheap(for 4k). It has some ghosting issues, which I got used to pretty fast. I do not even notice it anymore. The major problem I have is that some games do not scale very well to 4k. The GUI for some games, League of Legends being one, is a fixed pixel size, it means that the entire shop/cursor is tiny and hard to see. Other games like Skyrim, Assassin's Creed and Shadow of Mordor look amazing and put my two GTX 680s to work.

All in all, this is a pretty good monitor if you want to experience 4K. I would recommend it to others.

ProsCons
4k, cheap, 28", speakersghosting, cannot use HDMI @ 60Hz, scaling
