Great for overclocking

Pros: Easy to overclock, reasonably powerful, good value for money
Cons: Max temp a bit low (62C) but I think all AMD CPUs are like that

Like the title says really, I got revision C3 and it easily overclocks to 4 GHz even on a motherboard (Gigabyte GA-M68MT-S2p) with RAM (No-name generic) that really isn't designed for overclocking. I don't really think it is possible to get better for any less money (bare in mind I am in the UK and the tax's and exchange rate are a lot higher compared to some other counties which is why I had to pay around $150USD instead of what ever they cost in the US)

I ran an AMD z955 BE for around 2 years. An awesome chip for the price.. It is probably still the best O.C. chip for gaming that amd has made for some time. I got very frustrated with Skyrim becuase it is soooo cpu intensive I finally dropped the coin and went with the enemy and did the intel thing. I7-2600k. Sorry. Much more expensive to be sure but just like the amd 955 it is what they say. I abused the 955 constantly and it can take it w/out breaking a sweat. Couple that with a powerful video card or two and your system will handle damn near everything. Nice job. Getting 4 Ghz is pretty awesome. Best I could get was just slightly over 3.9 Ghz.
Dude I wouldn't OC hard on that mobo. It has a 3+1 phase power. But the 955 is a beast. I never regretted having mine for over a year.
