Pros: Immensely fast for 3D applications, sleek look, 3-year AMD warranty.
Cons: Expensive
The AMD FirePro V7900 is insanely fast, even very complex and high density models in Mudbox, Maya etc are a walk in the park for this card. It is probably overkill for most, unless you intend to really push yourself creatively, go for the V5900.
Its not cheap, far from it, most 3D artists will probably opt for a high-end gaming card, but there is a world of difference when it comes to 3D app performance. This card is built specifically for us in design and animation software, not games, it will blow any gaming GPU out of the water for 3D software and video editing use.
It can still play games, very well in-fact, but you may encounter more graphical glitches than usual.
