You contradicted yourself, the title says "Legends never die" and then you say they're not made anymore. lol
LOL I dident mean it like that what i meant was like legends never die the 6core was a big step before the 8 core so the 6 core was a big key to success and that it was a big part of amd moving forward
Not really a "Big step". This 6 core is almost always faster than the 8 core, which is the funny part. AMD have gone behind in performance. This chip in my opinion is still AMD's flagship CPU.
this is the best AMD cpu ever, yet. Since Piledriver sucks, and FX are not real 8 cores!
yea dum split core ;/
FX has 8 real cores. >_> They are physically present within the CPU.
But they're not "Real" Cores. AMD basically said "No we re-invented the core, to be LESS powerful!" and it worked! The FX are worse than Phenom!
no, it has 4 units that has 2 cores each. basically, each core is less powerfull then old phenom, and it never uses its most power, so every single benchmark show that 8 core is useless, and it never goes more then %50-60 usage
So, even intel 2100 performs better in game benchmarks, or just single core jobs
thats why i still rock this 1100T no 8 core bs
Yea, overclocked, it hangs with stock Ivy Bridge quad cores... I say that's not bad for a Stars-based CPU, and that architecture goes way back around 2006.
I always wondered, how comparable is this to a 1090t? cause thats what I have, and im probably going to swap it out with a 3570k next week.
1090t is better then 8150
i dunno why AMD went with Bulldozer... Although there is easier sales to be had from ignorance of the average consumer, upon seeing a 6-core HP PC from Best Buy for $600 and thinks "Wow!" when it's slower than the 1090t and far inferior to the Intel quad cores.

And i say that 3570k would be equal to a 1090t running at 4ghz/2600nb.
I wonder how much more powerful this one is compared to the 1055t I have. Not that the 1055t is a bad chip, but I didn't know that more powerful models existed until I already bought mine. And considered I paid 230 or so for my GPU... Is it worth the price?
It's still slower than i7 920 clock to clock.
