Pros: Cheap, Cool, Fast, Mild OC's
Cons: Locked Multiplier, No L3 Cache
Introduction:
I think this is one of AMD's great cheap processors. That fact that it is a quad-core for such a low price is incredible. It also runs really cool, and does have a small amount of OC potential.
Review:
I only use my system for gaming, paired with 6GB of 1500mhz ram and a HD 6950 and I can max out almost all games like Skyrim, BFBC2 and MW3. I did need to OC it to 3.6ghz to solve my GPU bottleneck though.
I was easily able to OC it to 3.7ghz on my Cooler Master V6GT on 1.35Vcore. If I jumped it to 1.4-1.45 I could probably get 3.8 outta this thing, but I don't want to risk frying it.
Conclusion:
All in all it is a great chip for a budget gamer, and performs extremely well.
