Pros: Excellent Quality, Many Cables, Up to 980W, Quiet, 5 Year Warranty

Cons: Ugly Cables, Non-Modular, A little expensive

Introduction:

I've been with the little beast for a year now, and it has gone strong the whole time, no problems whatsoever.

Review:

This is a 80+ Bronze Unit from Antec, made my Delta. It has a huge variety of cables, including four 6+2pin PCI-E connectors! The cables are sleeved, but not very well, but it is sufficient sleeving. It has quad 12V rails, 1x rail for the main motherboard and all the peripherals, 1x rail for the CPU, 1X rail for one set of GPU cables, and 1x rail for the other GPU cables. Each 12V rail provides a massive 40A.

I've read a review where they overload the power supply, this baby pumped out a massive 987W! Almost 1KW from a 750W rated unit! Meaning even if you have two 7970's or 680's it should run fine. It stays very cool with it's quiet 135mm fan. This unit is rated to run for 100,000hs. Meaning if you ran it 24/7, it should last 11 years, long enough for almost anyone.

Conclusion:

Overall I'm very happy with this unit, even IF I paid a little too much for it, I'm glad it will work for years to come, and it has a 5 year Warranty is case it doesn't!

I have the exact same PSU. Just want to know: does your PSU fan or the internal components make a faint buzzing/electrical sound when you place your ear next to the PSU?

That's my only issue with the PSU. I guess it's not normal though, just want to be sure
You may be getting coil whine? I don't think my PSU has ever really made a noise to be honest.
