Antec Lanboy air Blue Black / Blue Computer Modular Case

Description:
Meet the LanBoy Air. Nearly every part on this case, even the motherboard and PSU mounts, is modular and customizable. Up to 15 exhaust fans create positive air pressure inside the case that blows dust and heat out through panel perforations. Up front, the LanBoy Air's AirMounts HDD mounting system literally suspends drives in mid-air for unsurpassable vibration and noise resistance. Along with its two internal 2.5" SSD bays and a front-panel USB 3.0 port, the LanBoy Air is the last word in high-flexibility PC case design. Fully Modular Fun and Easy Modding

review by bwg

This case can be purchased for under $150. I have seen ads running them at $99 too. It has a rather ugly design to look at for some people's taste, but it is very functional and usefull in it's own unique way. The modular design is a big plus as you can change the look of the case with light effort. The case can break down to a lego-like collection of parts and pieces. The case itself can hold micro to full atx boards, but some larger atx boards cause you to lose a little cable management.

You can put the PSU on the top or bottom. The Motherboard tray can switch to the top, bottom, left side or right side. Some people turn their optical drives to point out the side and add a 3rd front fan. Here is a pic with an extra front fan bay from Antec that is not included with the case:

450

My actual case!

This case does have a reduced air FLOW, but if you place fans where the hardware you want to cool is, your should get better temps without FLOW.

If you own this case, you can join the official club here.

ProsCons
This case can hold up to 16 120mm fans. Mesh allows air to escape anywhere. Several configurations to modify it too.It is a big tacky Lego, but it works well. Fans it comes with are low CFM. Launch price was too expensive!
