This is a great PSU for its power range. Almost identical to the SeaSonic S12II PSU. It has 48 amps (576 w) available on the 12v, so lots of power for almost any single GPU out there (except it has a 6 pin and a 6+2 pin PCI-e connectors, so maybe an issue of cards requiring 2 8 pin PCI-e plugs). It also has enough power for many high end dual GPU setups, but again, PCI-e plugs are a limiting factor (you can always use adapters).
Fully sleeved cables (not the greatest, but better than bare wires) and nice paint finish look awesome. Cable length is nice for most any case. Fan is very quiet. I never hear it.
Biggest con is I do not need 6 IDE style connectors, but would like more than 6 SATA (should be more like 3-4 IDE and 8-9 SATA).
It also does not come with a power cable. Seems to be a cost saving measure by Antec on quite a few of their PSU's lately. Not a big deal for me since I have plenty of cables laying around, but many people do not, so be aware of it.
At its normal price (suggested retail of $99, but normally is around $75 + shipping) it is an OK PSU. If you can find it on sale (< $60 shipped AR) it becomes a really good deal. I got mine for $30 after a rebate and coupon code, so it was a smoking hot deal.
You can also look at the High Current Gamer Series 620 w unit, it is pretty much the exact same unit as the Neo Eco (not sure what Antec is thinking) except is 80+ Bronze rated, has 2 6+2 PCI-e connectors and includes a power cable (and normal price is about $5 cheaper).
Pros
Cons
Solid 80+ PSU, Sleved cables, Quiet fan
too many IDE type plugs (6), and not enough SATA (6)
Wicked PSU. I love the fact that its a continual rated PSU, so you could pull more power out of it. Worked great in my rig, and has moved on to power my wife's rig. still working almost a year later without problems. Would recommend to anyone looking to save some money.
Pros
Cons
Great quality, Always on sale. Amazing bang for buck.
None really. Could have been painted black maybe?
