Antec Nine Hundred Black Computer Case With Side Panel Window

Description:
Ultimate gamer case? Just maybe. With a partially perforated package that still finds room for four huge yet quiet fans, you have a seriously cool gaming case, and that's no joke. You expect the Antec Nine Hundred to be ready for lift off, especially with the 200mm TriCool exhaust fan and perforated port atop this stylish case. You can even mount a 120mm fan on the side panel! Contrary to some expectations, this case is very quiet, unless you have all the fans going at their highest settings, at which point you might hear . . . something. The 5.25" bays will hold optical drives, burners, or even (gasp!) your aging floppy drive, and up to six 3.5" drives can be installed in cages behind the fans, and these can be arranged along the front any way you like. This case provides a plethora of possibilities, and room to explore placement of all the pieces. The PSU, in a departure, is at the bottom of the case, for better case stability and thermal environment for the CPU. The side window into the case, in addition to letting you show things off, provides additional ventilation, either by way of the vented screen, or by the fourth fan in the box, mounted into clear plastic, for a clear and elegant mounting. This is a sturdy case built of steel, with enough cooling technology to keep things frosty in the hottest action. Take one home today and build yourself the "coolest" rig around! With Power Supply: No Power Supply Mounted: Bottom With Side Panel Window: Yes External 5.25" Drive Bays: 3 External 3.5" Drive Bays: 1 x 5.25" to 3.5" adapter Internal 3.5" Drive Bays: 6 Front Ports: Power & reset button with blue LED 2 x USB 2.0 1 x IEEE 1394 (FireWire, i.Link) Audio In and Out Side Air duct: No

Great case!

review by blue dragon

I own the first ver. of this case, no usb 3.0... but that aside, I love this case. Had it for years now and have taken it through several moves- always holds up nicely, never had anything damaged. not big about having the PSU bottom mounted. Maybe not as accessible as the newer latch cases that allow you to get to the drives faster, but the thumb screws for HDD cages are not bad as long as you like to stay with one setup.

also, a lot of the bigger graphics cards will barely fit in here, but you can remove one or two HDD cages and manually screw just the fans and grills in to create some extra space.

ProsCons
solid quality case, setup for custom liquid coolingtight

Good, Strong case. well made.

review by the fryer

It has help up nicely through everything, well made and strong. had to buy new fans, so i went with higher flow fans. keeps everything nice and cool. not to big on the cable management though. it all runs through ties on the right side of the motherboard. overall i expect it to last me till the change the board layout for mounting.

ProsCons
has held up through several upgrades, 2 moves, and being shipped by UPS 2 times. have to buy more, and better fans.
