Great mid ATX for $50

review by buttermilk

Antec One Gaming Series Black Steel ATX Mid Tower Case Review. Like this case.I haven't seen an Antec case with all black interior at this price point before. Correct me if I'm wrong. If you route the cables down the front panel they lose a good 6 inches of length to work with especially if you have to send them down the side of an optical drive. They will also be quite visible through the front mesh as there is no dust filter. The upper most optical bay is half taken up by the front panel connectors so there are no tool-less clips for that bay. I have only mounted a power supply in the down facing position in this case but imagine you can mount it with the fan facing upwards. I give this case a solid 9/10. It does lose a point for not filtering the fan grills. At this price you can't ask for too much. I would also have liked no fan spot on the side panel as it would sound proof the graphics card area a little better. Great case!

ProsCons
Cheap stylish No dust filtering

Great Simple Case

review by n0s3lfesteem

Great buy for the price if you not looking for something flashy... very nice matte finish and screwless hardware. The fans that came stock with it are great and the way everything fits so perfectly inside with my M5A97evo it almost like having a push pull config without an extra fan attached to the heat sink itself. Only problem I have with it is that the LED for the power button does not light up on my specific case but it's kinda win lose because the light can't annoy me when I try to sleep at night but at the same time I can't tell if the computer is on or not with a quick glance.

ProsCons
Ample room, Easy installation, Lots of Cooling options Power on LED does not work

Very Satisfied for My First Build

review by edwardm

This was my very first build and I am really satisfied with what this case provides. I think it's great for a budget build and I couldn't really have asked for more. All black in and out, a clean looking case and mounts for a 2.5" drive were a must for me. This case has two areas for mounting 2.5" drives. The hard drive mounting area looks neat with the honey comb design, but you need to remove the right-hand panel to get access to the HDDs, but not a big deal. The case itself feels fairly sturdy. The side panels are slightly flimsy, but again not a big deal to me. The cables from my Corsair CX430 PSU were the perfect length for cable routing behind the mobo tray.

The only con to me was the amount of cable management space behind the mobo tray. It's tight. I had to use extra effort to put the cover back on. It's definitely not impossible, but just had a to use a little more effort than I expected. And the more nit-picky con, maybe the front mesh grille area could have also had a filter, but again not a huge deal to me.

Still, the positives far outweigh the negatives. This is one awesome case. I love checking it out when I walk into my office room.
